At Brighter Future Learning Center, we believe that a strong writing and grammar foundation is essential to every child's success.

Our successful, advanced curriculum helps students develop complex grammar skills and a strong understanding of the English language. Through weekly writing projects our students develop narrative, descriptive, informative, and expository writing skills.

Our students learn how to improve their writing through individualized feedback and one-on-one meetings with their teachers. We have a passion for teaching and helping students excel, and we are eager to help your child discover the power of learning.

Applied Writing & Reading Foundations

Students will learn to use basic grammar concepts to write complete sentences. Students will also learn to use main ideas and topic sentence to build solid paragraphs and develop skills in reading comprehension.

Composition Writing & Critical Reading Lvl 1

Students continue to build upon the reading and writing skills taught in Club Achievement, with a stronger emphasis on vocabulary and grammar acquisition. An expanded writing curriculum focuses on narrative, descriptive, informative, and persuasive writing.

Composition Writing & Critical Reading Lvl 2

Students continue to build upon the reading and writing skills taught in Club 1. An expanded writing curriculum focuses on narrative, descriptive, informative, and persuasive writing. Short passage reading comprehension will be practiced.

Composition Writing & Critical Reading Lvl 3

Students learn to use grammatical and vocabulary knowledge to improve writing skills and apply critical thinking skills to formal writing. Students will analyze the effectiveness of writing concepts in extended passages.




Composition Writing & Critical Reading Lvl 4

Students learn advanced application of grammatical knowledge to different forms of writing. Students will also learn how to apply advanced vocabulary words to their own writing. Students will be trained to analyze their own writing in preparation for middle school.

Essay & Personal Statement Writing Lvl 1

An introduction to argumentative, persuasive, and informative essay writing, this class focuses on how to properly execute a well written five-paragraph essay. Through class discussions students will develop complex writing styles in preparation for high school level writing.

Literary Analysis Lvl 1

Students apply essay writing skills learned in Club Essential to develop critical writing and critical reading skills. Students will develop grammatical and vocabulary skills and learn how to analyze and interpret literature.

Literary Analysis Lvl 2

Students develop advanced writing skills to sharpen student timed essay writing skills. Grammar practice and application as well as vocabulary building are used to harness the intellectual and creative capacity in students, helping them develop a stronger understanding of literary analysis.
